Safety and Environmental Protection Principles of ENEOS Ocean Group
The company has established the Safety and Environmental Protection Principles to take our responsibility towards society for not only safe operation of ships, which is the basis of our existence, but also the other safety matters including staff members' safety and environmental protection in all our corporate activities.
All Group members will always bear in mind the principles so that it will be the culture of the group and execute corporate activities to contribute to society.
1. Culture of giving top priority to safety
Safety shall be the most important standard for judgment coming first.
2. Culture of protecting the environment
We will protect the environment by not only preventing any accidents but also minimizing the environmental impact by our ship's operation and other corporate activities.
3. Culture of considering others
We shall respect ourselves and respect our neighbors as our culture. The culture shall greatly contribute to safety and environmental protections as well as respecting people in the society and the environment.
I take the leadership strongly to fulfill the above‐mentioned principles and keep good communication throughout Group, and ensure that all staff members have tackle safety and environmental protection with unity.

Environmental & Quality Policy
The company has established the "Environmental & Quality Policy" to ensure the safe operation of ships at sea and environmental protection based on the basic principle, or the Safe Operation First in the "Marine Transportation Service".
- To protect the global and marine environment as well as to prevent pollution, we will actively pursue energy and resource conservation and recycling materials, and will actively purchase eco-friendly goods, promote the application of the most environmentally conscious technology while reducing emissions that affect the environment.
- We will comply with legal requirements and other requirements to which the company subscribes related both to environment and quality.
- We will provide reliable service to meet customer requirements.
- We will establish the objectives of environment and quality, and make every effort to improve the process to achieve them.
- We will ensure optimum allocation of management resources including human resource development and environment for the operation of processes.
- We will implement management reviews to continuously improve the system.
I assume all responsibilities for the management of the system, and pledge to ensure communication between ships and shore personnel and fulfill customer requirements. All personnel involved in the system are strongly requested to observe the Environmental and Quality Policy.

Safety Management Policy
The company has established the Safety Management Policy to ensure the safe operation of ships at sea and the protection of marine environment based on the basic principle, or the "Safe Operation First" in the operation of the "Oil Tankers and LPG Carriers" managed by the company.
Principal Policy
Safety shall be the top priority as the most important standard for judgment. We will continuously improve for achieving the following goals: Zero industrial accidents, Zero oil spills and environmental pollution, and Zero incidents.
Mission Statements
- We will provide for safe practices in ship operation and a safe working environment.
- We will establish preventive measures against all identified risks to ships, personnel and environment.
- We will comply with legislation and rules.
- We will ensure optimum allocation of management resources including human resource development and a working environment.
- We will continuously improve the safety management skills including emergency preparedness of shore and shipboard personnel.
I assume all responsibilities for the Safety Management System, and all shore and shipboard personnel involved in the system are strongly requested to observe the "Safety Management Policy".
The Director who has the sufficient experience and knowledge of safe operation of the ships owned by the company and protection of environment, and who has an adequate understanding of the system, is hereby designated as the Designated Person and takes on the responsibilities and authority for the operation of the system.

Health Policy
As a member of the ENEOS Group Company, the company has established the "Health Policy" in order to fulfill our social responsibilities in accordance with the code of conduct.

We endeavor to identify and evaluate health disorders related to our business activities and promote measures to reduce such risks. We also collect and provide information to external sources in order to ensure the sustainable development of occupational health.
